Hi guys. I’m 21, I’m from Poland. I study Mechanical Engineering.
Topic to be honest one from my the best ones.
Well. I have ridden every single comment of this topic and…
First of all. Still a lot of people in the World are still intolerant. It’s like: You are weird only because of.. hmm your mind is different. What’s wrong if someone is being into different religion, from different country, with different mind or philosophy of life? It’s still a person who maybe makes something else which is good for others? I mean: maybe his sexuality is not the same as mine but maybe he has made something good in his life which I haven’t done at all? Maybe he helped to someone? Maybe he is really a good person only with different mind than me?
A lot of people have said that :It’s weird, strange, shouldn’t happened, they are stupid….. bla bla bla. I suppose, their’s life is pretty difficult and I’m sure is more difficult than our life.
It’s exactly the same as some people from some countries are thinking that another people from another countries are worse or something. ( I find it quite often about my country where I’m from). Why? What’s wrong? For me a lot of people have got very, very closed ( shut ) minds which makes them intolerant which is for me very, very bad. With racism is the same. Ok. Maybe I’m not going to sleep or get married with a black guy because I’m more into whites but I’m ok if my friends or someone who I live closed with is going to! The same about gays or lesbians. I’m not going to change my mind to be a lesbian because I like men but I’m ok if someone else is going to it!
And also. If I see gays people kissed each other on the street and if I don’t like it I just don’t have to look at them!
They just were born like gays and if you trying to changing theirs mind you have more priests without an appointment(?) or stuff like that.- not sure the word.. – because they try to hide under something.
About God. It’s another interesting topic ( quite long I suppose) but I’m sick if someone tells that is into Religion, believes in God, goes to the Church and stuff and believes in everything what is coming from the Bible .. and is telling that gays “should go to the hell” because God didn’t make them .. and what God said about sex before marriage? So is here someone who truly believes in God and who says that gays are like a “devils” and who never, ever hasn’t broken what is saying in the Bible about sex without marriage or something like that?
I think a good an example is with a vegetarian people. They loves an animals and they don’t want to have animals killed for food. Good. But they chose those way aware and they don’t criticize other people who are eating a meat only because they don’t! They still have a “full-food eating” friends, they don’t pull them into no eating meat. They just accept others. ( I’ve got few friends whom are a vegetarian and all of them are very, very tolerant. And also ( what is interesting) they are more tolerant for “others strangers things” or something than a “normal” people. Their’s mind is just more open I guess. They are open to other cultures, countries, religions, no-religions, sexuality, philosophies… for anything!
Sorry for this honest comment but I just hate if people are being intolerant… I’m pretty sure no one from those people who said that gays are worse or something is not perfect.

Hi Alaitz, Robert and others who think the opposite about conservative vision and of course these ones who actually do.
I would like to apologize to anyone who I offended somehow talking about prejudgment by other cultures, religions or nations.
When I reread what I had written I could recognize that I blurted than actually defended gay marriage.
But as it is almost undeniable when we talk about the issue of gays, always we enter on the question of gay acceptance in society and other issues like prejudgment of race, gender , color, culture , religion , immigrants and so on.
However, please do not get me wrong , I fully agree that the government should focus on solving economic ” crises ” and so on, But people, the government also has to solve social problems too. Obviously, there are issues which are priorities. It depends on the management and sometimes the “Tvs and papers” to give this little kick.
I do not know about all you guys, but sometimes we are easily guided by the opinion of other people or other people who speak in the god’s name.
From the moment you do not kill , steal, do not discriminate others and so on, you are doing good for yourself , for others and , as a result, for God.

Neither can human be god, nor one religion, culture, nation be over the truth.

I can see that we are very different around the world. When I read some comments, I think that I wouldn´t be able to live in such conservative countries.
In my country it is accepted. There are people who are conservative and don´t like it, and other people like me that think that they can do whatever they want, like I can.
A few weeks ago, they started saying in TV that the actual goverment (quite conservative) wanted to change the word “marriage” and use other word. I think that with the crisis, they should be worried about other things better than that.

Hello,

I’m form Poland, city Warsaw, age 23, asistance.
I think is very interesting topic.
Is not a beautiful view if you stay in example on the street and wait for the bus and you see two men who kissed or to girls which do the same.
I think if two people really love each other and they want legalize their relationship is ok. They may marriage, because they have easier situation in life in ex. in hospital, if someone have an accident. They may legaly decided about other person. But if they want to adopct kids is not a good idea. Because in my opinion only man and women may take care children. I think gay or a lesbian have not good influence on children adult lifes, their psychics. The may be like they fathers and mothers to become lesbian or gay. Sorry for mistakes.

Hello everybody,
I’m from côte d’ivoire. I’m hydraulic worker. I’m not very good at english but I’m trying to give my point of view.
Gay marriage is not good. In my country, this marriage is not legal. I think there is not good to allow these people to get married and adopt a kid. The reason is that they won’t be a good parent because they don’t know how to get a son, how to love a son.
Then, this union won’t be bless by god because in god, marriage means between a man and a woman.
Eventually, I think that gay marriage is a bad idea for those who want it because it is against nature and against God.

Perhaps I’m not the best one to reiterate this question, but all human-being is fighting for improvements; be in their living conditions , intellectually or socially .
If you believe that you must be the same way you’ve always been (no matter one’s culture nor religion), you are arguing against growth.

I’m grace, 27, nurse..nobody has the right to judge and condemn other people just because they aren’t like you ..we’re all humans created by God..and I believe God loves variety, and when it comes to religious beliefs from different cultures, in my opinion, if you discriminate somebdy just because they are different, that will definitely make you ungodly..our country don’t allow gay marriages as well because of religious point of view..but no one really is certain about what God has to say..just don’t condemn.

That’s cool that people from east and west differ in their opinions. Though I’m a Christian I completely agree with Islamic people who don’t support the idea of gay marriage. And I’m absolutely sure in Islamic countries we won’t encounter such a great number of gays as in Europe, US and other democratic countries. It’s a pity, but people are getting more and more depraved, spoilt. Having much money, they seek other feelings: drugs, prostitutes, gays…. I don’t deny there are real, so to say, inborn gays, but there are few of them. I don’t think all of them want to show off on parades, get married, shout out loud they ARE different. Gays should live their quiet lives. I don’t know why, but nowadays gays (or mass media) want to attract people’s attention, excite compassion, why??? Why should politicians be puzzled with the question whether to adopt the law of gay marriage or not? Don’t they have other problems to solve? If so, why don’t we justify other people’s vices. Unfortunately, while human beings develop technologies, they degrade morally and don’t feel ashamed.

Me again.

First of all, i get so pissed off, every time when i see people are so into religion. I read in the news a few months ago, that some little girl is sentenced to death, just because she burned Quran book. C’mon people, that’s so freaking sick.. (Btw, girl was also suffering from some medical condition) I dunno what eventually happened to her.
I’m not an atheist, i’m Christian Orthodox, i go to church from time to time, I’ve never seen God, i’m just hoping he is out there..
And, how can you be sure that Bible, Quran, etc came from God’s words?
No offence, people, but that not makes any sense to me..
Btw, gay people shouldn’t adopt kids, that’s not right.. Kids should grow up in normal, nature family with mom and dad..
