Hilarious and Ridiculous
Life should be fun.
It’s weird. I’ve read that as the world is getting richer and richer, people are developing more and more psychological problems. Life is almost too easy and people put too much pressure on themselves. We all do it.
In English, there is a well known phrase that says, “laughter is the best medicine”. In many respects, I believe it to be very true.
The main goal of today’s blog post is to make you laugh and feel good. I hope this puts a smile on your face. If it does, please email this blog to your friends or share it on Facebook so more people can laugh.
This video below is a 2 minute and 30 second clip from a hilarious guy. In some sense, the video seems silly and very basic, but I really think it’s hilarious. Add and I were laughing our asses off last night while we were watching this. The guy who made this is a famous Canadian comedian. The guy’s name is “Tom Green”.
This video takes place in a Subway sandwich restaurant. I love eating subway. Add and I just had a sub on our way to the gym today. I had a tuna melt. At Subway, you can order any vegetables you want on a sandwich. Obviously, Tom is making a total mockery of this idea and ordering way more than what the owners of Subway had imagined. At Subway, if the customer keeps asking for more toppings, the worker is supposed to keep adding toppings. This is NOT how most people order a sandwich. I think the funniest part is how calm Tom is while ordering the sandwich and doing this little joke.
I would guess that you’d find this video either hilarious or retarded. I’d love to hear your comments so I can know your taste in humour and give you guys more of what you want.
By the way, thanks for all the kind emails about our Email Writing Course. We’ve probably had about 100 emails about just this course so we haven’t been able to answer all of them. We did read them and we’re super happy to see that it’s helping your writing so much. If you use those tips, your writing will be so much better in no time. Ok, now for the video… Please comment below. Enjoy!

Tom is definitely a funny guy. Besides the funny part, I do appreciate the work ethics from the sub guy. I guess I may get “that look” if I order subway that way here in midwest.

Well, I’ve found this video absolutely hilarious!)) Have you seen the face of that guy that was forced to add all this stuff over and over again? I thought that he would punch Tom))) He was on the verge of it, definitely.
I found myself in such a situation myself. I mean I was a customer, not a cook (not sure how you would call people who put stuff in layers in Subway))) So, it was 2 years ago and I was in a mall in Saint Petersburg (Russia). I decided to grab a bite and bumped into the sign that said “Subway”. I had never been there before (I mean in Subway network in general) so I decided to give it a try. I wish I hadn’t done it)) Anyway, I came up to the counter, looking at the price list and asking my stomach how much he wanted. He agreed on having a lot, so I started ordering. To begin with, I chose 30 cm bun and then… I really opened Pandora’s box – I asked the staff to put every kind of meat and vegetables in my sub. Turkey, fried bacon, cuccumbers, tomatoes, tuna, mushrooms and what not. It was A REALLY BIG BUN. Everybody around me was surprised, including a person at the cashier’s desk. It took him quite a long time to calculate the cost of my “creature”. The funny thing thing about it is that I didn’t realize that the cost of each layer will be included into the final price. I just kept on adding and adding and the guy behind the counter kept on asking “Do you want pickles? Maybe muchrooms? What about turkey?” I ended up forking out quite a lot of dough for the stuff like this (appr. 30 USD). The staff seemed very happy, as I proved to be a valuable customer)) They even gave me a bathtowel as a bonus, not a bad tradeoff after all)))

yes, by the way, no matter who I tell this story to, I was dubbed “retarded”. Don’t be judgemental, I won’t be able to live it down))

Hey Sergey,
That’s interesting. You have to pay for each topping at Subway in Russia? I didn’t know Subway was different internationally. I’ve only had it in Korea, China, Canada, and the US. I know that all the vegetables are free in those places. I’m curious, does anyone know any other place where unlimited vegetables are not free?

Hehee… That was hilarious and a little bit retarded. I was wondering how much the boy tolerated and didn’t stop putting stuff on his sandwich. I got nervious near the end. What is he gonna do next!

Not funny at all… In fact boring… What was this vid supposed to show/teach? Sorry… I know better stuff…
November 27th, 2012 at 8:13 am
Thanks for your honesty Rafal,
The video wasn’t really supposed to teach anything, it was just Tom Green being “arguably” hilarious.

That’s suck. Isn’t funny, isn’t hilarious.
Thx for you job. In your conversetion, there are a lot off hilarious stuff. Really

in my country Iran, I have not seen like this in subway.actually, customers cant order like that and the worker wont listen to them…or they have to pay for each topping.so unlimited vegetables are not free, specially at this time that economic sucks! you should pay even for grass

What was so funny? I didn’t understand.
But I have a question, why busboy doesn’t use a gloves when he serves food? It is ok to touch other people’s food with their bare hands??
November 27th, 2012 at 6:27 pm
sorry, it’s not so fanny ,
November 27th, 2012 at 6:31 pm
Hi everybody,
While watching this video I also thought about his bare hands… If I were Tom Green, I wouldn’t eat this sandwich. The video is rather funny but it’s not such a great thing as I though after reading the preface. I expected something hilarious, but it was just ok. However thank you very much for this blog because we all want to relax and smile more and please keep sharing other funny stuff!

I agree with Elen

At the first time I saw this video, I thought it was just retarded. I felt nervous while the man added his order. But once used to it, I could laugh.
November 28th, 2012 at 3:15 am
For me, It wasn’t that funny, but I could learn how to order a sandwich )

Hello, guys!
It’s me, Neal from Uzbekistan
There are a lot of perspectives to evaluate this video clip.
I would like to highlight the fact that it’s tough, humiliating and embarrassing to be a blue-collar worker like this poor chap in this particular situation. He is forced to follow all these instructions just to please the customer. That’s his job even if it looks very terrible. If this vendor starts complaining or whining to his boss, his boss will get rid of him on the spot. Later on, he will find another one who will be overwhelmingly obedient, quite and patient to do this crappy job so-to-speak. If I were this vendor, I would try to do my best to earn a College or University degree to be eligible to become a white-collar employee to have a decent high-paying job.
As far as this customer is concerned, he seems to be enjoying his time to give instructions like this. He is pretty arrogant to talk dawn to people who come from another social class. I mean, he could have told him exactly what he was about to order to make the whole process way easier. Yet, it is what it is… The customer pays money and enslaves him as much as he wants. Psychologists state that slavery is a mutual process between a slave-holder and a slave. A slave agrees to be enslaved and a slave-holder agrees to enslave the salve…

Now is 7:50 p.m. here and I had my first laugh of the day. What a boring day today! The video is really funny. “two pickles…” haha. Oh, he should have asked for some mustard as well. lol

Life should be fun definitely ! One week ago I was laughing my ass off from picture of my friends that I have taken – one of my friends seemed to be totally drunk (I mean the way he looked on te photo) even though he did not drink too much. The expression of his face really maked me laugh. That is when I realized that I have not laugh so much for a long time. For sure I used to laugh more in the past. It is funny that I had to wait quite long to realize it and laughter was actually what made me find it out. I started thinking how to change it. Maybe I should start meeting new people, who knows ; ) When it comes to my taste in humour it is not typical. I find abstract things funny and that is why most people get me wrong and find it hard to distinguish whether I make joke or not. Fortunately most of my friends have similar tast in humour, can’t say it about colleagues from my work. Maybe it’s tiem to change a job ; )
