World’s most Populous Countries

This is a list, in order, of the world’s most populous countries. That means the countries with the “highest population” (most people living in them).

I’m interested in learning new stuff and some of these countries in the list really surprised me. I wanted to share it with you in case you feel the same as I do. I think it’s interesting to take a look at the list and then read about what’s going on in these countries.

This kind of thing can tell you a lot about the world and what the future MIGHT be like. I think it’s important to have a “rough idea” of at least the top 50 countries on the list. This kind of information is completely useless if you don’t think about what it means, but it is very interesting when you think about what this means for the world.

I’d love to hear from you guys about where your country is on the list and what is going on there. Is it a good place to travel to? Is it safe? Is business going well there? Which international brands are popular in your countries? What do you think the future will be like and why? Here is the link to the list:

List of Countries in Order of Population

Looking forward to your comments. What surprised you?

I will answer your questions/comments and then share my personal feelings after reading from you guys.

Note: Population density is also an interesting number on there. In case you don’t know, it means the number of people on average living in one square kilometer of the country. There is one country that has over 1000 people per square kilometer and another country with under 3 people per square kilometer.

I didn’t know that bangladesh was so populous… And it’s such a small country!
1,141.84 people live per square kilometer! O.O

  2. china232 Says:

    Hey Jesse,

Ya, that one really surprised me too. Amazing. So many people and yet we don’t hear much about it in the world news. Strange.

hey guys thx for sharing such a interesting info! ive not even come up wiz these kinda thing befor so it got attractive for me.. anyway im from japan n as ive guessed that japan is pretty populalized.. n what got me suprised was Philipine is behind japan..

  4. china232 Says:

    Hey Ryo,

Ya, that was really surprising to me too. It’s strange how we all go to school but have no idea about that list. It makes me wonder what teachers are teaching us all these years.

  5. Agenobarb Says:

I live in Russia. The amount of people here is not very big, the much more interesting parameter is the population density. 8.3 per a kilometer!
This is because climate here is not good: it is very cold in winters and it is very hot in summers. The average temperature differences can achieve 65 degrees Celsius – like nowhere esle! That is why it is hard to grow agricultures products here.
If we wouldn’t have a much oil which we can use in our economy and which we can sold abroad, we would have a serious economic problem …
But the climate has been changing recently. It becomes warmer in winters. Who knows maybe we can see how grapes is growing in Syberia soon :)

  6. china232 Says:

    Hey Agenobarb.

What’s up? Add and I are from Canada, population density is under 3.5. Pretty hilarious.

  7. Agenobarb Says:

    china232,

Yes, I know, everybody in Russia knows that Canada and Russia are pretty similiar in climat point of view :)

  8. Nfeika Says:

Actualy it ‘ s not smthg new for me. I ‘ve already read some books and articles about this matter. The fact is the world is changing, probably even faster that we suppose. And if we don’t think about those overpopulated countries, it doesn’t mean they don’t think about us. I believe the future is in Asia , and keep remember as my teacher at unti said us 10years ago: guys, you’ d better learn Chinese )). As for my poor Russia, I don’t believe we can expect good changes here, hopeless…

  9. charlie Says:

I’m from Vietnam. I’m living HCMC. Here where I come from, I’m going crazy with around 15 million crowding in 2095 km2. That is about 7000/km2 of population density. The living standard is decreasing rapidly here. And I wonder how Monaco people can breath when the density is 16500/km2, that’s surprising me.

World War III coming soon. Battles for territories and resources. Over 1,3 billion chainese will be big trouble for mouther Russia. Especially Chaina have so powerfull economic, army, science… We should much more working, much more learning to keep our country strength enough, when no one will attack us.

  15. Evgeny Says:

Ok. Russia is 9th in the list. 145 million it is too little for us, because of our huge territory.

It’s very good place for travel, we have awesome nature everywhere, woods, steps, mountain, huge rivers, clear lakes… Beautiful St. Petersburg, Moscow. Nice, friendly people and, of course, the most gorgeous woman in the world (sorry other nation, it’s clear true). You must see it :) But we have awful service and bad roads, so you should be ready for it. Everybody will love Russia, if at least one times visit us.

It’s safe? Yes, more than you think. We have bad reputation about safe, but it is stereotype.

Is business going well there? With business connections all be great, without ones all be bad.

Brands? All the same. Apple, Sony,

  16. Evgeny Says:

    Sorry, put on submit accidentally.

Brands: apple, samsung, google etc. D&G, gucci, prado etc. Nike, puma, Reebok, adidas (and abibas). BMW, Toyota, porsche etc.
Don’t have any Blackberry. Much less iPods then in Europe and USA, many russians use other mp3 player like samsung, sony, because they cheeper, but now selling apple going through the roof, soon iPods, iPhones, iPads will be everywhere. Android much popular then iOS still. PC much much muuuuch popular when Mac, I think 97 % use PC.

Future? Future will be very difficult, because of our history. Nothing changes in Russia.

  17. china232 Says:

    Hey guys,

It’s awesome seeing how international this site is and hearing real stories from around the world. The news is always so pathetic when compared to hearing real stories from the horse’s mouth (the real person).

I was surprised too that turkey had so many people. I asked some of my friends to guess the top 7 countries in order and no one was even close to getting all 7 right.

It was interesting reading from Evgeny about Russia. I knew it was big and beautiful but I’m surprised to hear about the predictions of the slow changing future.

I hope there is no world war 3 and we can figure out some way to deal with this world. There will certainly be a lot of disagreements on stuff but something tells me a world war would just be stupid for everyone and we call can see it. Right now, all the wars are in some sense not real wars. They are not a fair fight between two really big countries. Hopefully science figures some new ways to make clean energy for the world. This oil thing will be a problem but we still have some time to think up new ideas. 50 years is a long time in the future so it’s impossible to predict what the world will be like. It’s hard to even imagine 25 years ago when there was no internet. Now everyone around the world is downloading movies on their iPhones or Androids. I think even the changes that will come in the next 15 years will be unbelievable. Let’s wait and see. I’d love to read some more comments. And Delia, don’t worry about comment length. Just write whatever length seems reasonable at the time.

    Andy

  18. Delia Says:

Hi Andy, The reason why I asked about the length is because I wrote a post as response to your questions. You post was interesting therefore what I wrote was a combination of facts and personal experience, a list of popular international brands in Romania(about 10-15) plus 2 links to youtube about Romania at the end. My post appeared a bit too long probably because I listed some popular brands in Europe in a column. the post didn’t appear as normal comment but appeared, from time to time, as “awaiting moderation”… After reading your answer, my guess is you didn’t see it, even though it appears on my screen as “awaiting moderation”. what should I do then? see, I talk so much that I’m almost a spam to you!

  19. china232 Says:

    Hi Delia,

Ok, now I get it. Here’s the thing; Spam on the internet is just insane so we actually never even look at the comments in moderation. There are probably over 100 000 in there now. It’s just crazy. We have our spam filter set on high. So the software probably saw that you put links and stuff like that and figured it was spam. In a perfect world, I wish we didn’t need a spam filter but it’s just not even close to a perfect world. In the future, I would suggest saving your post before you submit it. If it says “awaiting moderation”, just take out some of the parts that you think might look spammy to software, ie (links).

That’s another reason the writing section will be sweet; Add’s still perfecting it before it goes up. This will be soon. The VIP members will be able to post links because there can’t be spam in there since it’ll be a private paid section. I can’t wait.

    Andy

  20. Delia Says:

Thanks for clearing the things up. Of course I saved it. I just wanted to figure out what’s going on, I guessed it’s about a spam filter. I will try to break it in two parts. I can’t remove the links, I love them and they are on topic.

I’m having a funny perception about population’s density. I personally like Canada’s density; SPACE!!!!I enjoy having space around me. My personal space widened since I’ve been living here. When I came to Canada for the first time, I felt completely overwhelmed and my head was spinning only seeing so much space and highways around me. When I went to Europe last time (Vienna and Romania), everything seemed narrow, crowded, and tiring.
Regarding to the list you blogged about, I goggled a similar ranking list a while back (for entertainment and general knowledge purposes). First, I was surprised to see Indonesia in the fourth place and I don’t know anything about it except location on the globe and the capital. I also surprised to see Italy the third in Europe and Ukraine so populous. Ukraine is very close to my hometown and I visited it when I was a child (it was a part of USSR at that time) and I have never known how populous is. Asia is a terra incognita to me. Of course, I read about it a lot but it still a mystery to me. When it comes Asia, it’s a bit scary only to think about how big it is and how crowded, and the culture is so different from what I experienced before (Europe and North America). I’m wondering if I would like to visit Asia. ..In theory, I would. In practice, I’d be very scared; I’m a very spoiled person. If I can bring my personal bubble with me, yes, I would. Probably I will do it someday, don’t know when, these years I’m too in love with the beaches in Caribbean to care about the rest of the world. That’s my paradise.
About Romania, my native country: International brands popular among Romanians, according to a study realized by Reader’s Digest and conducted in 16 European countries:
Cars: Mercedes; Domestic appliances: Philips; Computer personal: Dell; Cell phone: Nokia; Cell phone operators: Vodafone; Photo Camera: Sony; Insurance companies: ING; Internet provider: RDS RCS; Credit card: Visa; Vitamins: Eurovita; Hair care products: Head & Shoulder; Soap: Dove; Tourism agencies: Parallel 45; Gas: Petrom; Bank: BRD; Cereals: Nestle
Cosmetic products: Nivea (Unbelievable. I just realized how loyal I am to this brand, I’ve been using this brand since I were a high school girl and I’m still looking for this brand in stores. Even though I experience various other brands all the time, Nivea is present in my bathroom. Every time I go to Europe, I ALWAYS buy Nivea because I don’t want to carry heavy stuff with me in luggage across the ocean).

I would say that it’s pretty safe to travel in Romania. I don’t know, I have never had problems when I lived there but things happen like everywhere in the world. Although it’s good to take care of your wallet or valuables while you travel in very crowded places or poor neighborhood. You won’t be attacked or robbed violently but some very poor Romanians can be very creative when it comes stealing from pockets or bags or visas… Romanians are very friendly and easygoing, sometimes too friendly for English-speaking people who are culturally more distant and polite…There are many things to visit, cities, famous monasteries, old wooden churches, medieval castles (Dracula, that famous character originated in Transylvania, part of Romania where I was born, although I have never seen any bloodsuckers only in movies or medieval castles only as museums.) The rural tourism seems to be popular among foreign tourists. However I would pretty uncomfortable to live in someone’s house but it’s a matter of personal choice. You can travel in Carpathian Mountains and you can go to lie down on the beach at Black Sea in the south.

How the business going in Romania? I think the business is better than other places in the world or in Europe but Romania can’t compare with competitors like Germany. Both my father and brother are businessmen, brother is more successful. He runs a successful chain of about 8 stores in our home city but according to his accounts (and my father’s too), is very hard to keep an honest business alive because of very high tax level and unfavorable legislation. He’s a fan of US where he travels and stays a lot and where he tries to establish businesses there. That lucky bastard…:D

Andy, it’s so cool get your replies. It’s like get message from Steve Jobs. :) I know I’m exaggerated a little bit, but you are sort of minor celebrity and very exiting have a small conversation with you. Thanks for good mood :)

  22. Delia Says:

and they were such good videos…it’s weird, I was able to share some videos and stuff a couple of weeks ago without any problem…I’m just wondering: my bad habit of posting music brought this spam filter here? :D

  23. Evgeny Says:

Delia, great, next my travel trip will be in Romania, no doubts. Plus I had friend there, I should visit her :)

  24. Delia Says:

Evgeny, you are sooo right about messages from Andy. not only he is a celebrity here but his comments are very interesting and smart. It’s like having a conversation with a rock star (a smart poised one) :D :D :D

You’re lucky to go on vacation in Romania! I wish I could go to see my parents and my dog. I wish you a wonderful vacation there and yes, you should visit her!

There are so many Russian people in Canada! It’s a big community here.
Btw I’m having a recent pleasant experience about Russians. Every time I go to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, there are so many tourists from all over Canada, US, some west-European countries and so many tourists are from Russia!!! They travel almost half of the world to come to Punta Cana! And I understand them completely, I am in love with that place, I would do the same thing: traveling half of the world to go to my favorite place.

  25. Evgeny Says:

Oh, it’s no surprising at all. Russians everywhere. I was in Barcelona last year and I often hear russian speech. The same in Italy. It’s quite annoying for me, because I want to know another culture, to get feel country, feel “civilization”. But I hear “Misha! I want this shoes, and I don’t give a fuck that it costs 200 euro, you must bye this. And that a ugly hat you are wearing?” or “We lost again, I hate this city!” something like that, everywhere!
So then I in Europe, I escape my group (at least I’m trying, they always found me :) ) and go walk pretending that I’m not Russian, it’s like game for me :)

    Sorry for my English :)

  26. Delia Says:

:D Evgeny, I know what you mean! I understand you more than you imagine! When I moved to Canada I hoped to live different, to know various people and cultures. To some extent, the lifestyle is different but some things never change. The annoying part is the large majority of our friends are Romanians, and they are predictable. Even when I’m in the store I overhear Romanians and it happens so often! The funny part is they think no one understands their dialogue…:D My husband sometimes nudges me: “Speak English” for diversion and fun. These experiences with other Romanians are sometimes pleasant, sometimes less pleasant. One of the things that I like about this community is exactly the mixture of all cultures and people from around the world.
Anyway, Russians and Romanians share some similarities. We are both are East-Europeans, we both have common history because we lived in Communism many years. It’s funny that after these years in Canada, I recognize East-Europeans people even without listening their language, only by seeing their body language or clothes or hairstyle or attitude, especially when it comes women. But there are some differences too. I start with 1 fact mentioned in the list: Russia is huge comparing to Romania with regard to population and area. :D Romania is ranked 54 and Russia 9. And Russia appears to be the largest country in the world. I didn’t know that. And I was sure that USA is larger than Canada. According to the list, Canada is larger than USA.

P.S. I wouldn’t worry about your English, that’s why we are all here: to learn.

  27. Delia Says:

:D lol, I’m being punished for posting too much music. life sucks

  28. Evgeny Says:

:D good to hear that I’m not alone.

I’m always was recognized in the Europe, it’s ware strange for me. I’m dressed cool, didn’t go this open eyes, keep my mouth closed, always smiled (we are rare smile) but some seller always tell me price on russian and say “spasibo”, without question: “where are you from?”.
It’s interesting because I didn’t recognize my own countryman often.
But you are right, with women easer.

I’m surprised to hear that you don’t now that Russia the largest country in the world and that Canada larger USA. It’s interesting because it shows huge differences in school program. I our school children learn it then they 12-13 hers old, teacher give them maps and lists like that. They learnt that regard population China on the first and India on the second. They learnt that type of mineral resource have USA or German. Maybe on the classes of math, physics and chemistry we learn same staff, but on the classes history or geography we learn different things.

  29. Delia Says:

Evgeny, I always knew that Russia, Canada, USA, China, Brazil are the largest countries but I never cared which one is the largest because I never needed these details. It’s about numbers, to me numbers are empty. I’m not fan of numbers. I like words more than numbers. I might learned these things in school but believe me, there are more important things to memorize than miles or square kilometers.

btw, Evgeny, your comment is just another example of how East-Europeans and Russians (which includes Romanians too) conduct themselves. We are sooooooooooooo smart, we knoooooow everything, we are “BIG”, “larger than life”, we are competitive, bla bla bla. In fact we are rude, sometimes without realizing that. in our “bigness” and “smartness” we offend many people around. that’s why I’m not fan of East-Europeans, Russians, including Romanians anymore. Canadians, on the other hand, they control what they say, how they say, and the nuances of their words, and even though they might be considered distant by other cultures, they are not annoying or rude.this is my perceptions on cultural differences.

in fact, my enthusiam here starts to fade away.

  30. andy Says:

May I jump in to the conversation? It’s pretty funny.

I read Delia’s last comment first and then went to read Evgeny’s.

I don’t want to take sides but I really don’t think Evgeny was trying to imply numbers are so important or you are stupid for not knowing them. To be honest, I was a bit surprised too that you didn’t know it was Russia, Canada, USA in order of size.

It’s not important information but I think Evgeny’s point is that it’s surprising you don’t know because it seems that the school system tries super hard to force people to learn that exact information for some weird reason. I think the point was more that “schools are weird” rather than “you should know that”.

In Canada, we certainly learn in school that Canada is bigger than the USA. People know that before they know where Japan is on a map! It’s crazy. It’s a stupid fact, especially because 80% of Canadian people live within 200 km of the US border. Canadians get proud of their size in some weird way too. They won’t tell you if you ask them but I can feel it.

I am finding many Canadians to actually be arrogant in subtle ways as well. I think it just takes a while to see it because the negative qualities of the people are different in every culture. Here is one example, many people ask me why we live in China, almost like we’re crazy for not living in Canada. The funny thing is that the people who ask us never travel anywhere so they don’t even really know what they are asking.

BTW, I hope in your minds I’m still like a rock star version of Steve Jobs.

    Andy

  31. Delia Says:

you know, I was a bit surprised too that I didn’t know it was Russia, Canada, USA in order of size. More than that, I still don’t care too much!

Evgeny didn’t imply the numbers are important. I was the one who said that numbers are not important for me. The order of size is still a form of number…and I still don’t care which country is the largest one. I could find the exact numbers in a second but the pleasure of a spontaneous dialogues was more important. Silly me. One of my numerous flaws.

I know very well that some Canadians can be arrogant. I felt it enough times. What I was trying to say in a very inarticulate way that in a normal social situation, Canadians more likely to try to be polite and choose their words. I can’t say the same thing about East-Europeans and Russians (which is too large to be included in East Europe, because, as you all know except me, Russia is the biggest country in the world and Canada is the second!yeeee!!!) I have a weird feeling that I might forget this in a few weeks again and discover it again with surprise, for the same reasons: an unimportant boring detail. Evgeny, please don’t take my comments personally. I get edgy from time to time for unimportant things. Nothing personal.

Andy, you said you don’t want to take sides but you did it. you disappoint me for the first time (no, for the second time) but since I don’t know you personally, it’s not the end of the world for none of us. I’m naive and absent-minded. I forget all the time that you are only a person who runs a small business here.

  32. andy Says:

    Delia,

No hard feelings. Really. We’re grateful to have you as a part of this community.

I think there may have been some misunderstandings by all during the last few comments.

    Andy

  33. Evgeny Says:

Ok ok. I didn’t say it clear enough last time. Sorry.
My point is what we learn different things about world. It can be small things like number and it can be global view on worlds history. It’s problem, because we got misunderstanding like this.

Why numbers are not important? Here is topic about numbers. If you wrote comment here, it means you can read list of numbers and interpret ones in the words. It’s contradiction in your post.
Why this number important? Let see hypothetical situation, special for you Delia: one boy is weak and have 3 apples, other boy is strong and have no apples. Any prediction? I think strong boy going to have 3 apples.

I don’t believe it! I think you are nice person. you called ALL Russians rude and annoying. You can call ME rude, because I am in charge for my words, but not every Russian, Slav and Romanian. It’s stamp! Stereotype thinking is no good for self-improvements.

In fact, I don’t do anything to upset you. At all! I even don’t have time to respond you, but you already poured a bucket of dirt on the East-European and your own HOMELAND! Plus you say that your enthusiam here starts to fade away, but only one day before you are love Andy like rock star. That’s wrong with you?

Andy you are great, don’t pay attention on this. Couple day before I though that I can’t writing any English, but now I can writing bad. It’s huge step for my English. Thank you for interesting topics, I read your blog everyday :) and I don’t imagine my morning without listening your free podcast now.

  34. Delia Says:

    congratulations

  35. Delia Says:

to both of you. you’re building a unique online bonding :D

  36. Evgeny Says:

Sorry, I don’t catch your joke. Could you explain one for me, please?
After that you could say “silly russian”. But don’t do it, stupid only me here, and stupid in this certain situation. Do you understand? Respond only me, not to both of us. Andy sad nice things to you. Why you are get mad on him? You should be happy I think.

And I thought your enthusiasm here fade away. Why are you lie again?

Wow! My writing English going through the roof. Interesting thoughts about this:
Not only good staff let you improve yourself. When you are in battle, you are must do your best. It’s help improve a lot! So we should love our enemies like our friends. Delia, I love you! :)

  37. colorcollar Says:

Once again, China tops the chart. That’s for sure. Everyone can probably guess it before they click on the link. I am not proud of the statistics at all, because 99% of social problems are based on population issues in China from my perspective. When I was young, I clearly remembered that China was a huge country that almost covered one third of the earth. After I grew up, I realized that China is just a country with huge population which can actually covers 1/3 of this planet.

I used to travel a lot, but these days I’m more used to staying in since I’m getting sick of taking pictures of crowds almost everywhere. My friends are good at using Photoshop to highlight their own figures out of thousands of tourists behind. I can’t bother doing that. I’d rather look at pics which purely present scenery.

You and your brother have been living in China for a long time. I guess you guys must have the similar experiences of running away from crowds to take pictures.

If anyone thinks of that living in a crowd place can help get rid of loneliness, come over to China, you’ll be 100% amazed. LOL!

  38. Delia Says:

    No good deed goes unpunished.

I’m a nice girl and I like when people feel good around me. Unfortunately, some people confuse “being nice” with “being a pushover”.

It’s pretty simple: I have had a nice conversation with a person. Among other things, he said something like “Sorry for the English”. Because I’m a nice girl most of the time, I told him “don’t worry about it”, because I didn’t want him to feel bad.
I also wanted to remain on topic because I didn’t want to mess owner’s blog anymore. Therefore, because I am a nice girl, I commented at the end of the post something unimportant but related to the list of world countries. It was even unimportant what I said, it was important for me not to mess the owner’s blog and to carry the conversation lightly, in pleasant terms to everyone involved.

I was nice girl twice. What happened? Two guys I wanted to make feel good about themselves came back to me and made me feel bad with a bit of unsaid superiority:” I’m a bit surprised that you didn’t know that Russia was the largest country.” Yes, I didn’t know or didn’t care about it because like majority, we know some things but we are ignorant about other things, depends on what is important to us. How I felt? Double unpleasant: first, embarrassed with my ignorance; second, and more important, resentful because people I tried to make them feel good about themselves made me feel bad, with or without intent.

    The little story ends here.

Andy, I like your blog. Most of the entries are smart helpful. However, I was surprised that you should know very well that “steriotype” is wrong, and “stereotype” is correct. See your “pigeonhole” topic. You wrote that mistake twice, which means it’s not about a typo….

The moral of the story? When someone is nice to you and tries to make you feel good, try not to offend them. Choose your words carefully. Protect them. This kind of people is rare in life. They are almost like an endangered species. They might die or turn into unpleasant mutants.

    Andy,

No hard feelings. Really. I am grateful for your podcasts and for most of the entries and comments in your blog. I learn useful things from you.
I’m pretty much done with my enthusiasm. You have a fan less. It’s hard to stay rockstar. I’m not sure if this was the outcome you expected, but believe or not, for me it’s a good feeling, a “freeing feeling”.

    :)

    Hi Delia,

Sorry to hear that… I still think there are some misunderstandings from everyone’s side, including mine. Anyway, If there is one thing I want you to know it’s that I didn’t mean to upset you at all.

I hope one day you will feel like hanging out on the 232 again. You’re certainly always more than welcome here no matter what.

Can you explain what the meaning of”save and sandwich”
    Thanks

  41. china232 Says:

Hi Nok. Where did you hear that line? I’ve never heard it before. If it’s “safe and sandwich” I could guess, but I still wouldn’t know for sure.

    Andy

  42. Nok Says:

From the CNN news about debt ceiling limit in USA.But I am not so sure if I heard this phase is correct, however I think you can guess what it really is if it is not this phase

  43. Nok Says:

I think it should be safe and sandwich as you mentioned,so what is the meaning of it,by the way where are you going to come to Thailand again for your next birthday trip and your younger brother one also because if I am not wrong I could recall you told about this in your podcast but I am not so sure what the number of podcast is.

I love your podcasts very much because it is very natural learning way of learning any languages around the world

    Keep up your excellent work

  44. Nok Says:

I meant when not where and regarding the birthday you and your younger brother is the same day, isn’t it?

  45. andy Says:

    Hi Nok,

I think they were trying to be kind of funny. (The people on CNN obviously aren’t that funny so it’s the best they can do I guess).

“Safe and Sound” is a common expression in English that means very very safe. I guess “Safe and Sandwich” is supposed to sound a bit similar but they mean that it’s not safe somehow. They are taking risks and gambles with this debt ceiling thing and I guess they don’t know what’s going to happen.

You are right, our B-day is the same and it’s Feb 2. We’ll be in Thailand then for sure. Beautiful country at that time of year.

    Andy

  46. Nok Says:

    Thanks Andy,you are so kind guy to answer any questions you are being asked,so here is my two more questions for you to answer them as below;

1.”What kind of people are they saying all Americans having insurance is not good.”

Is it correct sentence? if so,what kind of grammars is it used.?

    2. Iranian man was arrested at Suwannaphume airport while allegedly trying to smuggle 50 snakes in a suitcase out of the country.

    Can it be written as below;

Iranian man was arrested at Suwannaphume airport while he was allegedly trying to smuggle 50 snakes in a suitcase out of the country.

    Thanks so much in advance

  48. sadaf Says:

hi everybody.i am from Iran and live here in a small city named Galikesh. i am sure you haven’t heard it at all.we have a lot of jungles, woods and natural parks here full of trees.the people as you know speak Persian and they hardly try to learn English, but i am interested in English and also teach English to my students however i am just 20 years old.Iran is one of the most beautiful countries because of its nature and old history. they are a lot of historical places to visit.all of the women here should wear scarf and be veiled because of our religion, here people have special customs like everywhere else.even you as a tourist should be veiled it’s like a fun for you but it’s an interesting experience.take it easy just wear a scarf and wear it no matter how much your hair is seen as the same your hands and feet shouldn’t be seen like your hair directly.people here are very kind and they love guests. i offer you to come to the north of Iran it’s famous and the weather is perfect here at any time. there are a lot of places for you to stay here.ma name is SADAF and it means seashell. by the way we have many seas here.don’t forger Iran if you have any opportunities.if you have questions about Iran i can answer them.please feel free and ask me.

  49. sadaf Says:

hi Nok i don’t know where you are from.but your last sentence was about Iranian. do you study about Iran or…?
    if you mind please answer.THANKS

  50. Delia Says:

Andy, after reading such a smart and sweet reply, it makes me think “what’s wrong with me being upset with such a nice online place and with such an insignificant thing?”

That’s what I call great customer service.

  51. Evgeny Says:

Hey Sadaf, is it safe enough in Iran for tourist? that about infrastructure, service, hotels, restaurants? What kind of food usually eat Iranian?

  52. Evgeny Says:

    Delia, stop trolling here. Please.

  53. Delia Says:

Evgeny, if the owner of the website will ask me to change my way of communicating and posting, I will do it for sure. you are not entilted to give orders on someone else’s website. this is the only way I can communicate because there is no private message, only on the website. I would seriously suggest you try to ignore me.

  54. Evgeny Says:

Delia, of course you are right. That’s why I sad “please”. If you want to continue this unpleasant conversation, well, it’s your choice. But don’t call yourself “nice person” after it.

  55. Delia Says:

Evgeny, you’re involuntarily funny: you initiated this unpleasant conversation and you keep talking and talking telling me to stop talking. I was just talking to myself here and Andy&Add, worst-scenario case they ignored me like intelligent people. They never said “you’re offtopic, you crossed the line, bla bla”. It was such a pleasant place before you showed up. As you said, I’m a bad annoying person. It’s very true! I’m very nice only with people who treated me good most of the time, you are not one of them. If you can’t ignore me, I will ignore you.

  56. sadaf Says:

hi dear Evgeny, how is it going with you?ofcourse it is safe to come to iran for tourism. if not i wouldn’t encourage you to come here.restaurant and hotels are really cheaper than anywhere else especially european countries.well it is an islamic country but you know other foreign countries most of the time advertise against iran but i hate politics and everything relates to it i just know that iran is pretty safe for tourists with kind people and good weather and delicious food!alot of food is in use here in iran they special names like : ghorme sabzi, gheyme, aabgoosht, they are really nice of course there are other usual food like rice and chicken and fish, pasta, all kinds osf salad, alot of kind of homemade cakes.i will be happy to hear again from you.by the way it is pretty big and old as i said before.
