The 232 Brand and Audio/Video English Domination
If you are reading this now, I’m guessing you already know what Add and I do on this website, and you have already listened to several of our audio podcasts (or several hundred!). That’s awesome! Maybe you have them all on your phone or computer. Maybe you are listening to one right now!

Ok, so as you know, the 232 brand is expanding (growing AND getting better). We bought businessenglish232.com (nothing there yet but big plans) and of course the new English learning video site learnenglish232.com that we’ve been working on every single day.
Whether or not you are a VIP member yet, you should check that site out every day; it’s great for helping spoken English and remembering ALL the meanings of words and phrases.
We are literally making a new video lesson every day on LearnEnglish232.com There will be other stuff there too, but videos will be a key part of that site. So… You’ll be able to see something new every single day there. It’s going to grow fast and we hope to see you there and participating in the comments.
We have A LOT of content (lesson) ideas already, but if there is anything that you’d like to see in terms of videos, topics, or whatever, please let us know in the comments on LearnEnglish232 OR in the comments of this blog post. I’ve been reading and responding to as many as I can on the new site. I haven’t even been sleeping and am going wild on the coffee!

Hey bros. Im From Russia ). Tnx for english lessons. Im 21 years old, student. My pc just sucks : Pentium 4, Nvidia 7300
I downloaded lessons in January 2011. Moreover during freeleach at torrent tracker i got like 200 Gb of english audio-video-text english stuff. Few month ago i deleted almoust all, but your leassons, and i just started to listen them while going to Univer and home.
At the begginig your lessons were way too loud early, and then silently in the middle and late parts…

I’d like to see more hesitation things, things that are common in speech. You should know what I mean. For example, the lesson with “point” was a good one.

I have a suggestion for your 200 lesson “Peace and equality”..
Now it is up to you to make a podcast covering up the aforesaid topic.
Thanks a lot guys for your helpful podcast. I am living in Australia and It is 40 days that I am here and I always try to use your slang. Is there anyway that can help us to improve our listening very fast? I need your idea guys. When I am listening to news, documentary program or movie I can get 70-80% of the concept but speaking with real guys in real worlds is something different especially when you wanna talk to them on the phone. Particularly with Australian accent which is one of the hardest in the world.

I wish you ever-increasing success in your job, because it is definitely a win-win situation
I have one question! why don’t you just focus on ONE WEBSITE and create different sections in it such as: Business lessons, Videos, MP3 podcasts, Phrasal verbs, Idioms and so on. In this way, you have One but a complete, integrated and comprehensive English learning website and you’ll have more followers for sure. Honestly I find it confusing and time-consuming to check several websites in order to find new lessons! I hope you pay attention to this matter guys.
and finally, for lesson number 200, you can choose best memorable sentences from your members since starting of china232. what ideas, suggestions, and criticisms have had the most influence on your job? what are your best impressions of your fans? I think this would be an interesting subject!

why don’t we consider making a future podcast about cultural difference in the Eastern and Western culture like the Chinese will burn stupid paper money to their ancestors?
(I’m a Chinese and I think that’s absolutely crazy! People would think the dead ones would actually receive what they burn for them, then our Chinese ancestors must own a lot of burnt rubbish because there are so many incinerators in the world and so such rubbish waiting to be burnt.)
I have been wondering the reason for the Chinese putting a black-and-white photo of their past families on graves. BTW, the listeners might wanna know something about superstition, the most scariest, haunted ones, not able to explain with current scientific theories. So exciting! hope other listeners would think the way I do and accept these topics

About milestone, I think it will be good if you will tell about your expanding plans for future. Maybe as part of lesson.

Hi! I’m particularly interested in Business section. There I would like to learn “office vocabulary”, “business idioms”, all the names of positions that can exist in different companies (from CEO to PA), juridical terms that can be used in documents, contracts etc. Plus, such prepositions as “hereof, hereafter”, maybe specifics of sentence structure in official documents or letters, abreviations and other things. Please, write a blog when you are ready with the Business section.
Ideas for lesson #200 – soon is the Earth’s Day. You can raise theme of environment, or ways to manage our time and put priorities right in life, or as many students are here, give hints how to behave during the interview or useful phrases (or taboos) in their CVs.
